My experience at the Sara Bareilles Concert in Seattle:
So as you guys are all aware of, I am madly in love with Sara Bareilles.
After her outstandingly amazing superfantastic mindblowing concert in Seattle, I ran to the front of the stage to scavenge a guitar pick or setlist as a souvenir. After 5 minutes of shouting at the crew, one finally goes and gets a setlist to bring to me. Out of nowhere, this douchebag comes up and ripped the setlist out of my hand as the man tried to hand me it. The douchebag ran away, laughing deviously.
Off to the side, I started to see a line form up for a meet and greet with Sara. I rushed to get in line, only to find out that a special VIP pass was needed to meet her. I ran around the line, asking people where they got the VIP passes, but they all dodged my question; no passes were to be found. After sulking off to the side, a woman screams “that dude! over there!”, I look, and she’s pointing at me! This generous lady had one extra Meet and Greet pass with her! Sadly, I had to leave my friend behind as there was only one. As I walk into the special Meet and Greet room, I see all of Sara’s band mates with their family friends. To my surprise, this generous lady was actually a friend of one of the opening acts, Hannah Georgas! This meet and greet pass was for family and friends, but I was lucky enough to score one.
After waiting 20 minutes for Sara to come out, one of the crew members came out and said that Sara was not going to join the get together. I was crushed. I was so close to meeting Sara, I saw her band mates. I saw the opening acts. I didn’t see Sara…
Now I have to wait longer for that selfie with Sara. I’m. So. Depressed.
